Senior Ruby on Rails/React Developer

Job Description This company enables dealers to offer credit challenged consumers a chance to build or rebuild positive credit history. They help offer financing to customers they otherwise wouldn’t be able to finance. They are looking to hire a Senior Fullstack Engineer in the AZ, PA , TX and IL region. This position will be a contract to hire remote position. Contract will not be longer than 6 months and this candidate will be hired on fulltime.

This will be a small, but powerful team! You will be able to make large changes to the companies’ websites as well as lead a small team. You will be responsible for assisting in the coding of the business objectives and must be comfortable with a fast-paced environment with time sensitive objectives. You will get exposure to Project Management, Quality Assurance, Business Systems Analyst, and Risk team members and requires excellent problem-solving skills. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Proficient with Elixir
• Expert with Ruby on Rails, React, and relational database (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experienced in agile Application Development (3+ years)
• Has built fully automated DevOps solutions inclusive of the network, data and application tiers

Desired Skills & Experience

• Background in building consumer facing applications in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
• Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth and OIDC
• Enjoys teaching and mentoring junior members on any of the technical skills listed
• Understanding of Auto Finance, Finance industry knowledge or similar
