AppSec Engineer / REMOTE

A Chicago-based news company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer to join their team full-time! This fully remote position will be working on supporting a cloud-based digital experience platform that helps organizations create and distribute content and drive digital commerce. To do this they’re looking for someone with both a strong red-team background (including penetration testing), as well as some amount of development experience to assist in code reviews and custom tool development. • 5+ years cybersecurity experience
• Significant red-team knowledge and experience
• Development experience
• Cloud experience (AWS heavily preferred)

• Code review experience is a big plus
• Any certifications are a plus
