Azure Cloud SRE

We are assisting a healthcare provider in the recruitment of full-time Azure Cloud Site Reliability Engineers (SREs). While they prefer candidates to be based in Chicago, they are open to remote work arrangements. The organization's primary mission is to enhance the well-being and quality of life within patient communities, with a special focus on delivering personalized primary care services to older adults enrolled in Medicare.

In your role as an SRE, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the stability and performance of an innovative healthcare platform designed exclusively for the clinical team. You will collaborate closely with their software engineering team, operating within a dynamic and agile environment where they transform concepts into tangible solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Evaluate and enhance system monitoring.
• Define SLOs/SLAs with Product and AD teams.
• Ensure design meets SLOs/SLAs.
• Automate testing for performance and resilience.
• Automate tasks and improve applications with developers.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience
• 3+ years of cloud-native development for consumer products
• Proficient in automating pipelines with CI/CD tools
• Skilled in system monitoring and observability best practices
• Experience with capacity planning and resilient system design
• Knowledge of nonfunctional requirements, including SLOs/SLAs
• Preferred experience with our Tech Stack: Istio, Grafana Labs, .NET Core, Confluent Kafka, Mongo, gRPC, AKS, Docker, Azure
• Preferred experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production
• Preferred experience in large-scale Microservices application monitoring
• Requires US work authorization
