Fullstack Python Engineer

We’re looking for a Fullstack Python Engineer to join a quickly-growing HealthTech company with a brand new office in The Loop. Their cutting-edge prescription management platform helps patients renew prescriptions, set up delivery methods, and give feedback to their doctors regarding their symptoms and treatments to improve their healthcare. 

This company is leveraging its innovative technology in an untapped sector with lots of opportunity, enabling them to grow by 50% in the next 6 months. As a Fullstack Python Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of healthcare platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust and scalable software solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and seamless user experiences. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience as a Fullstack Python Engineer or similar role, with a focus on web application development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and database design.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience building and consuming them.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of payment systems, financial technology, or related industries.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
