A diversified technical trading firm is looking for a Linux Engineer to help with desktop support. This company is known for its use of cutting-edge technology and data analysis to inform its trading decisions; they are considered one of the most successful and innovative trading firms in the industry and has a reputation for attracting and retaining top talent.

This role requires extensive experience with Linux because you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting servers for our end-users. While your focus will be primarily Ubuntu on the desktop, you will have exposure to various other platforms and will manage the all aspects of our Linux end-user environment. This is an opportunity for someone to influence overall systems architecture as well as build processes, packaging environment, monitoring and more. In this role, you will have an opportunity to regularly interact with a number of development groups to gather end-user requirements, make recommendations and implement change.
