Job Description In this Principal Data Engineer role, you will utilize Google Cloud Platforms, Apache Airflow, DBT, and Python to architect the modernization of the company’s data infrastructure. You will collaborate with analytics, business, and engineering teams to create data structures for reporting, modelling, and monitoring key metrics.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of IT / Analytics / Data Science experience
  • 2+ years’ experience with SQL
  • 3 years’ experience with data modeling
  • 3 years' experience with demonstratable programming knowledge (Python Preferred)
  • 2 years' experience with best practices in building data pipelines and quality checks
  • 1 years’ experience with building out and maintaining metrics, alarms, and monitoring of services
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Strong background in Health Care Data and related engineering experiences
  • Strong desire to work with analytics data and partners.
  • AWS, GCP certifications (Solution Architect, Engineering, Big Data Specialty, etc.) would be a plus.
  • Experience/Exposure in Data Science and/or Analytics in cloud would be a plus.
  • Experience in Machine Learning/Deep Learning use cases and development would be a plus.
  • Experience in Data Cleansing/Transformation would be a plus.
  • Experience in Container, Kubernetes, and related technology ecosystems would be a plus.
  • Experience in Event-Driven Architecture, Streaming processing would be a plus.
  • Experience in sourcing and processing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data would be a plus.
