QA Lead - Hybrid in Chicago

A Chicago based company sitting in the Financial sector is looking to add a Lead QA Engineer to the team, hybrid in Chicago a couple days a week! This will be more of a Technical Lead role, with the environment consisting of Java and C# automation. This role will consist heavily of backend API and Database Testing. Currently there isn’t a lot of front end testing, but any UI knowledge is helpful. Are you interested? Apply today!

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of QA experience, specifically with automation.
• Experience working with C# and Java automation, able to understand code.
• Able to work in a backend environment.
• Database testing experience with SQL.
• API testing experience with Postman, RestAssured, or anything similar.
• Able to work in a hands-on role.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant field.
• Experience working in a Financial environment is a plus.
• Any CI/CD experience is a huge plus.
• Performance Testing is a plus.
• Any certification is a plus.
• Good communication skills, able to work successfully with other teams.
• Team player! Able to work well with others and adapt to work environments.
