Security Analyst - Hybrid in Chicago - Third Party Risk

A FinTech company based in Chicago is looking to add a Security Analyst to the team that will be working in a hybrid format in their office! This ideal Analyst should have at least 3-5 years of risk management experience with understanding of both internal and third party risk responsibilities. The main standards that will be used are SOC2 and NIST, but any other standard experience is a plus! Required Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of information security frameworks such as SOC2 and NIST.
• Understanding of both third party and internal risk.
• Familiarity with AWS or any other cloud technology.
• Understanding of vulnerabilities, being able to look and communicate to other teams.
• Understand acting works of remediation.
• Understanding of control testing and able to understand specific GRC platform controls.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Information Systems or similar field preferred, but not required.
• Involvement with Incident Response is a plus!
• Good communication skills, will be working with developers.
• Team player! Able to work well with others and adapt to work environments.
