Security Architect - Hybrid in Chicago

A FinTech company based in Chicago is looking to add a Security Architect to the team that will be working in a hybrid format in their office! This ideal Architect will come from an Application Security background who also has the capability to wear multiple hats. On top of Application Security duties, this candidate will help with Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing, Incident Response, and more! Required Skills & Experience

• Understanding of reading and execution of code.
• Able to secure code and perform and implement DAST and SAST tools, ideally with Checkmarx or Netsparker.
• Understanding of analyzing and responding to any incidents or threats that arise.
• Able to write security policies and shift architecture reviews.
• Understanding of vulnerabilities, being able to look and communicate to other teams.
• Understand acting works of remediation.
• Experience with Penetration Testing, ideally with Kali and Burp.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Information Systems or similar field preferred, but not required.
• Any Kubernetes or Docker infrastructure is a plus.
• Good understanding and experience with DevSecOps
• Good communication skills, will be working with developers.
• Team player! Able to work well with others and adapt to work environments.
