Are you a skilled Senior Data Analyst looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our Technology Team as a full-time Senior Data analyst based out of Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining a cutting-edge cloud-based data platform. You'll have the chance to work with diverse data sources, including investment, accounting, regulatory, and vendor data. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as a data analyst, business analyst or data developer in a financial service
- Demonstrated experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or data developer in a financial services organization, with a strong track record of analyzing and interpreting complex datasets.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft SQL, Azure Analytics, .NET, and Python, enabling effective data querying, analysis, and refining.
- Experience with cloud technology and infrastructure, leveraging cloud-based data platforms and solutions.
- Experience in building and maintaining a central data repository for an organization, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques, ensuring data structures and schemas are optimized for efficient analysis.
- 8-15 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in asset management, providing a deep understanding of business data dependencies and financial concepts.
- Experience with large enterprise data ecosystems and analytics platforms, empowering advanced data analytics and insights.
- Ability to interpret large data sets through the use of data queries and quality metrics to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent verbal, writing, and editing skills, enabling effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Additional programming and development skills beyond Python and .NET, broadening the scope of technical capabilities.
