We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager with expertise in AWS (Amazon Web Services) to lead and oversee the development and management of our innovative product that enables users to make donations conveniently during the checkout process and ensures efficient storage of relevant data. As the Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the success of the product by defining its vision, strategy, and roadmap, while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy and Vision:

    • Develop a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
    • Conduct market research and gather customer insights to identify opportunities for product enhancements and differentiation.
    • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on user needs, competitive analysis, and business goals.
  2. Product Roadmap and Planning:

    • Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineering, design, and marketing teams, to define and refine the product roadmap based on technical feasibility and market dynamics.
    • Identify dependencies and risks, and proactively manage them to ensure successful product launches.
  3. AWS Expertise and Technical Oversight:

    • Leverage your strong understanding of AWS services and architecture to design scalable and reliable systems for donation checkout and storage.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements, review technical designs, and ensure the successful implementation of product features.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team throughout the product development lifecycle.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that drive donation conversion and satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with data analysts to define and track relevant metrics, derive insights, and make data-driven product decisions.
    • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and ensure product adoption and success.
  5. Product Performance and Optimization:

    • Monitor product performance and key metrics to identify areas of improvement and optimize the donation checkout and storage processes.
    • Conduct A/B testing and user feedback analysis to refine product features and enhance user satisfaction.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AWS services to continuously improve the product's performance and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, preferably in a fast-paced software development environment.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with web and mobile technologies, APIs, and data storage solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in the payments, e-commerce, or nonprofit sectors is a plus.
