Linux Systems Engineer

Job Description The largest direct selling telecommunications and essential services provider in the world is looking to grow their team. Headquartered in Concord, NC this client is looking for a Linux/AWS System Engineer. 

Ideally they are looking for an engineer with experience in bash/python scripting, configuration management, VMware, Infrastructure as Code, as well as expertise on Linux servers. You will be responsible for implementation, support and development, of server, storage and cloud infrastructure. In addition, you will be tasked with basic scripting and integration tasks as necessary. 

This is a contract opportunity with hybrid onsite responsibilities in the Concord, NC area. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a Systems Engineer position or similar role
• Linux server experience
• VMWare experience
• Infrastructure as Code- Terraform or CloudFormation
• Scripting experience with -Bash, Perl, Python, node, etc

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong technical background in telecommunications or Information Technology solutions- experience with systems architecture, Integration, and/or cloud infrastructure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Desire to work with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with vendors and partners

The Offer

• Hourly rate $60-90/hr DOE
