- Established background with 8+ years in progressive software engineering, demonstrating a consistent history of successful productivity
- Recent proficiency of 6+ years in Python and Flask related frameworks is essential.
- Leadership experience, with a focus on guiding small development teams of three to five, spanning over 3+ years
- Capability to document requirements and specifications effectively
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Tech stack: Python, Flask, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, AWS, Ubuntu/Linux, Firmware/Hardware, Robotics, C++

- Utilize Python as the primary language to support critical software systems on our bespoke software and hardware platforms.
- Improve and troubleshoot Python applications.
- Identify and resolve issues using a combination of Python and PostgreSQL.
- Leverage Python, PostgreSQL, and various systems and processes to boost productivity, maintain stability, ensure consistent APIs, and enhance system speed.
- Utilize AWS for monitoring and diagnosing issues, as well as creating alerts for real-time notifications to stakeholders.
- Operate in an Ubuntu/Linux desktop environment.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional distributed team setting.
- Lead the execution of complex engineering projects through the entire software development lifecycle.
- Document and sustain software functionality.
- Occasionally engage directly with customers to discuss roadmap development and gather feedback.
- $180,000 - $200,000 DOE
