Systems Architect / Entertainment Industry / Hybrid in Culver City

Job Description An industry leader in the VR space is looking to bring on a Systems Architect for their on-prem infrastructure. Due to the nature of technology, their VR headsets are all on-prem so heavy experience with VMware ESXI and Automation is needed. You’ll work closely with their Senior DevOps engineer, complementing their expertise in AWS infrastructure with your on-prem knowledge. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure is also needed, as they’re in a hybrid on-prem and AWS environment.
Ideal candidates have expertise in VMware ESXI, Automation, and have built on-prem infrastructure from scratch.
This role is 3 days remote-hybrid in Culver City Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years total experience in site reliability
• 5+ years in VMware ESXI and Automation
• Strong experience building on-premises infrastructure from scratch
• Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash
• Experience working in a hybrid cloud and on-prem environment
• Experience with monitoring tools

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Experience in the VR space a plus
