Automation Engineer – Telecom

12+ month Contract

100% Remote (client based out of Dallas, TX)

My client is the leading global provider of automated test and assurance solutions for communications networks, cybersecurity, and positioning. They provide innovative products, services, and managed solutions that address the challenges of a new generation of technology. They are seeking to hire a high-caliber automation engineer with excellent technical acumen to implement analytics solutions. The automation engineer is expected to work directly with customers, and the ideal candidate will possess an analytical mind and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• The automation engineer will work closely with the solutions architect, engineers and Project manager to implement our customer's testing needs across physical and virtual network topologies into specific product and/or service solutions.
• The automation engineer is expected to work directly with customers, and the ideal candidate will possess an analytical mind and have excellent communication skills.
• Focus is creating automation test scripts based on client’s dynamic test plan requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years technical experience in automation development and programming
• 3+ years hands on Python automation development and programming experience
• Exposure to Robotic processing automation
• 4G/5G Wireless Telecom experience REQUIRED
• Experience working with Spirent Landslide
