Cloud Systems Engineer

Job Description The client we are working with is an image recognition database startup company. Think of Shazam but for real life products, for example you'll be able to take a picture of someone's shoes and the platform will tell you what brand they are, their cost, and where to buy them. The client is looking to bring on a Cloud Systems Engineer. This is a full time direct hire opportunity. 

They are looking for an engineer that can join on the ground floor, one of which is someone who is skilled on the Cloud and Operations side. Ideally, looking for someone who is knowledgeable with Azure Functions, AWS Lambdas, Terraform, Salt, Jenkins, and Python. If you have experience with VectorDBs then that is a plus.

This is a full-time role. Will be 100% remote. Required Skills & Experience

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in Cloud Computing
• Cloud Platforms such as Azure and AWS
• Serverless Cloud Services (Azure Functions/AWS Lambda/etc.) and techniques (fan out, etc.)
• Automatic Platform Management via Terraform/Saltstack or equivalent
• Special nosql databases (Vector Databases) such as Weaviate, Pinecone and Milvus
• MLOps on Azure or Platforms such as Wandb
• Expert Knowledge of Java/Kotlin and Python, bonus C/C++ and Go
