Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join their team, with expertise in Microsoft Fabric. This position is remote optional but prefers CST time zone over all – or located in Texas. This is a full-time direct-hire opportunity.

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Fabric. As a key member of their remote team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and availability. If you have a strong foundation in data engineering, along with hands-on experience with Azure Fabric or comparable technologies, we invite you to join their mission of turning data into insights.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines in a cloud environment, with a focus on Microsoft Azure Fabric.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Utilize your expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Work with Azure services such as Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and others to build end-to-end data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize data processing and storage systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering.
  • A plus would be any experience with PowerBI, Architecture, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Experience is also valid instead of related degrees).
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on building and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, particularly Fabric or comparable notebook experience and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Proficiency in using data processing tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python) for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
