Senior Software Engineer Description: We are looking for a superstar Application Developer who is responsible for developing, updating, and modifying our shipping platform and API based on customer needs.
The first digital carrier, seeking to completely dismantle traditional logistics. Customers can integrate with our API and easily manage their logistics without the hassle of choosing carriers, negotiating rates, or developing complicated logistics plans. Our company is experiencing rapid growth, within the last six months, our system has processed millions of shipments, and have begun signing up enterprise clients to our product offering. In this role, you will be accountable for the complete development process to create a releasable increment, including testing, delivery, and post-deployment support. In this job, it will be important to have a passion for creating a brand-new product that’s in development, and will wildly vary as we figure out solutions to complex problems.

• Can decompose a complex problem into a set of small iterative tasks
• Have exceptional analytical skills, are an out-of-the-box thinker, and are comfortable with quickly learning, evaluating, and deploying new technologies

• Are an entrepreneur and a solid A-player who goes above and beyond to deliver in a timely manner
• Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Have attention to detail and are self-driven You Will:
• Develop software applications for an in-development product
• Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle
• Innovate solutions for intelligent systems
• Working as part of an agile development team in a fast-paced environment
• Develop groundbreaking technologies which disrupt an antiquated industry
You Must:
• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Be proficient with at least one of modern software languages, e.g. Node/Python/Go, etc.
• Be familiar with software engineering best practices, e.g. Test-Driven Development, 12-Factor Applications, Blue-Green Deployment • Be comfortable with modern DevOps tools (GitHub, CI/CD platforms, containerization, orchestration platforms) • Commit & deploy code often Nice to have:
• Professional experience with both SQL and NoSQL (Mongo, RedShift)
• Professional experience with AWS or other cloud platforms • Experience building/maintaining data warehouses & ETL systems • Worked with/designed event-driven systems
• Familiar with React, and modern frontend stack Work Environment:
• This is a remote position. Creating a workspace at home, or preferred location is the responsibility of the employee.
• Should be able to take calls, join video conferences, and operate daily tasks necessary to the role.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with Key External stakeholders and/or other External Contacts. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Must be able to discern, identify, recognize, and assess data and other operational information
