One of the world's leading law firms is seeking a Senior Server Operations Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.
In this position as a member of the Server Operations team your role involves providing day-to-day support for their global server infrastructure, both on-premises and in the Azure cloud. Your responsibilities will include remedying security audit findings and vulnerabilities, managing Azure landing zone engineering and operations, coordinating, and planning projects, implementing server operation policies and standards, deploying projects, provisioning server environments, conducting analysis and generating reports, offering administrative support, conducting data center analysis and execution, and managing vendors. This position requires a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies and security with some Linux it is a 60% Windows and 40% Linux environment, as well as expertise with Azure and Azure AD/Entra ID, ideally architecting within Azure. Virtualization with VMWare, SCCM/SCOM, Automation with PowerShell, Bash, or command line scripting. As well as any networking experience with Cisco UCS.
This position is open with a one day onsite in either their Dallas, TX office or Chicago, IL office. Required Skills & Experience

  • VMWare, Hyper-V, or Nutanix
