Hybrid Network/Security Engineer

Job Description The second largest aerospace manufacturing company in the world is looking to grow their team in the DFW area. They are looking to bring on an IT Build Engineer with a focus on Network and Security to join their team, on a full-time direct hire basis. This is a hybrid position with more emphasis on the work from home opportunity. Onsite responsibilities will be out of their Denton, TX office. 

The ideal candidate for this position is skilled in designing and deploying LANs/WANs, working with Cisco, experience working with firewalls and security tools- Palo Alto/Forcepoint/Encryption, VMware, ToIP, storages (Netapp/EMC), basic backups (Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault, etc.), and Active Directory. Required Skills & Experience

•  7+ years of IT experience
• Strong understanding of Networking protocols
• Expert in LANs/WANs, VMware, and Cisco
• Prior experience with firewalls and security tools – Palo Alto, Forcepoint, etc.

Desired Skills & Experience

•  Bachelors or Masters in a Computer related field is a plus
• Prior experience within a Windows environment is needed 
• Any certifications are nice to have
