Position Overview: As a Firmware Engineer, you will be a key member of our engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded firmware for our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, low-level programming, and a passion for delivering high-quality firmware solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Firmware Development:

    • Design, develop, and implement embedded firmware for our products.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware requirements.
  2. Low-Level Programming:

    • Write efficient and optimized code for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
    • Implement communication protocols and interfaces.
  3. Testing and Debugging:

    • Conduct thorough testing of firmware to ensure reliability and performance.
    • Debug and troubleshoot firmware-related issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  4. Documentation:

    • Create and maintain detailed documentation for firmware designs, APIs, and development processes.
    • Provide documentation for end-users and internal teams.
  5. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of firmware with overall system functionality.
    • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Firmware Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in low-level programming languages (C, Assembly).
  • Experience with embedded systems development and microcontroller architectures.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and issue tracking tools.
