Our client, a global toy manufacturer and entertainment company, is actively looking for a Design Project Coordinator to join their team in El Segundo, CA! This role is hybrid onsite so local candidates are required.

***This is an 8 month initial contract position with the opportunity to extend or convert*** Responsibilities
  • Assist department management with identifying and implementing adjustments to procedure toward best practices
  • Function as designer and project coordinator for all assigned jobs, facilitating assignments from beginning to end
  • Liaison with Senior/Executive Management, Creative, and other Service Group partners to achieve objectives
  • Drive execution of Virtual Toy Fair sites for assigned brands
  • Clearly define scope of project with client groups (includes collaborating with internal department resources-CAD, Graphics, and Fabrication-and external creative groups
  • Communicate project timelines, key dates, and task sequencing to all parties involved
  • Set budgets based on clients’ available funds, seeking estimates from appropriate internal service groups and tracking project expenditures
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a project coordinator role with design exposure/skills
  • Analytical marketing experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Must be comfortable with some travel
