Global Business Insights Manager

Our client, a global toy manufacturer and entertainment company, is actively looking for a Global Business Insights Manager to join their team in Los Angeles! This role can be fully remote however candidates must be able to work PST hours.

***This is a 3 month initial contract with the opportunity to extend or convert***

The Global Business Insights (GBI) team provides meaningful insights and actionable business recommendations that guide strategic planning across leadership, brand management, strategy, and commercial teams. In synthesizing disparate internal and external data sources, the GBI team identifies emerging trends and opportunities within product development, category line architecture, content generation, as well as many other business topics.

This Global Business Insights Manager will primarily support reporting and analytics for the GBI team! Responsibilities

• Lead reoccurring weekly and monthly Toy Industry reporting that monitors and analyzes key industry KPIs
• Provide analysis on toy category shifts and brand performance by analyzing data within Tableau
• Create interactive filters, parameters, and calculations for reports and dashboards within Tableau
• Provide data support to marketing teams, including pulling data, analyzing trends, and communicating insights
• Create presentations for management on the various data that is being compiled

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related analytical field
• Strong Tableau dashboarding experience
• Advanced Excel (formulas, VBA, Pivot Tables, etc.) and Powerpoint (deck creation) skills
• Experience working with external data sources including NPD, Nielsen, Euromonitor, etc.
• Proficient in displaying data in clear, simple, and impactful ways
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
