Embedded Software Engineer

An industry leading transportation company is looking for a few embedded software engineers to come in a code out next generation boards for the locomotive space. You would be coding, testing these boards in Erie, PA on a hybrid work environment. 

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 2+ years with C++
• 2+ years with Linux or QNX
• 2 + years testing
• Exposure coding on boards

Pluses

• RTOS
• Ethernet
• ARCNET

What You Will Be Doing

• Working on next generation boards for locomotives
• Write code, test and release software
• Implement Cyber features and obtain Cyber Authorization to Operate (CATO)
• Resolve software issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide solutions
• Deliver software on time with quality
• Perform design and code reviews in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines.
• Break down problems and estimate time for software development tasks
• Work cross-functionally with systems engineering, product management, simulation, verification, validation, and electronic hardware teams
