Job Description We are helping a distinguished institution hire full time HPC Linux System Admins. They are offering a flexible hybrid scheduled with 2 days in their Chicago office. They are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an HPC Sys Admin. While we are specifically looking for an individual with experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC), if you are a Linux Sys Admin with expertise in Splunk and SolarWinds for ticketing systems, we encourage you to apply. We are open to candidates who possess Redhat 8/9 proficiency and have experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana. If you don't have HPC experience but are eager to learn, we are prepared to provide the training necessary to master the HPC skillset. Required Skills & Experience
  • Manage and maintain High-Performance Computing systems and infrastructure.
  • Administer Linux systems and ensure their efficient operation.
  • Utilize Splunk and SolarWinds for ticketing system management.
  • Monitor system performance using Grafana and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in the field.
  • Strong background in Linux system administration
  • Proficiency in Redhat 8/9.
