Network Engineering Manager

Job Description Our client is looking for a Network Engineering Manager to join their team. The client company is a leader in food logistics and a premier vendor for restaurants and grocery stores. The Network Engineering Manager will be responsible for all network projects and personnel, vendor and budget negotiations, the network architecture, and will occasionally need to be hands on with the tech. They are looking for an experienced network engineer and leader who can juggle managing vendor and budget negotiations, architecture, and occasional hands on work with the network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience working with Cisco, Catalyst/Nexus, and Fortinet. Having experience working with Ruckus or wireless tools is a perk. This is a six-month contract to hire role with a hybrid (three day onsite) structure located in Fort Worth. Compensation will be $70-75 an hour. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working with Fortinet firewalls
• Experience working in a Cisco environment
• Leadership and negotiation skills
• Written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of networking experience, 2+ in a leadership position a plus
