Platform Engineer

Job Description We are partnered with a leading company in the fine food and beverage distribution industry. They are seeking a Windows Platform Engineer to join their team.

In this position you will be responsible for provisioning, deploying, administering, monitoring current Microsoft Windows Server and Services platforms including cloud technologies. Ideally they are looking for an engineer with an expert foundation in Microsoft operating systems, experience with load balancing using F5, SAN storage, as well as cloud, and virtual system environment experience. 

This is a full-time direct hire position hybrid onsite 3-4 days per week in Fort Worth, TX. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years direct systems administration work experience preferred
• Provisioning, deploying, administering, monitoring experience Microsoft server environmetnt
• Disaster Recovery Planning/Documenting/Implementing
• Extensive experience required working with VMware virtual environments utilizing vSphere, Operations Manager, and vMotion
• Proficient in Nutanix administration
• Experience with Cloud services and highly available solutions AWS/Azure/Azure-Stack/Nutanix is a plus
• Microsoft Exchange environment on-premise and Office365 cloud
• Working technical knowledge creating and editing PowerShell, VBScript, and batch files.to efficiently perform and/or automate systems administration tasks
• Must be able to work on call as needed to support business needs
