Our client is seeking a Help Desk Support professional for a hybrid position for their Garden City and Lake Success offices. This role involves providing technical assistance, diagnosing hardware and software issues, and maintaining print room operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Troubleshooting technical problems
  • Proficiency in Windows Desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office suites
  • Familiarity with remote access technologies (VPN, terminal services)
  • Basic Active Directory administration
  • Experience with VMWare virtualization and Exchange administration
  • Friendly and professional demeanor

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP)
  • Basic Linux knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality

What You Will Be Doing:

Tech Breakdown:

  • 50% Windows Desktop operating systems
  • 25% Remote access technologies (VPN, terminal services)
  • 10% Basic Active Directory administration
  • 10% VMWare virtualization
  • 5% Basic Exchange administration

Daily Responsibilities:

  • 30% Responding to technical assistance requests
  • 25% Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
  • 20% Maintaining print room operations
  • 15% Tracking and routing problems and requests
  • 10% Informing management of recurring problems
