Job Description
A leading HR software company is seeking a Data Center Engineer to join their team. The software platform they build out allows companies to manage payroll, benefits, and employee profiles for a given company. They are located in Grapevine, TX.
For this position the company is seeking a Senior level Datacenter engineer to step into the position. You will be responsible for helping design and maintain a Tier 4 and Tier 3 data center. Currently there are only 6 other Data Centers in the U.S. that are rated tier 4. The impact you have in this position will be felt throughout the organization, making the company Data Center one of the most secure in the nation.
They are looking for candidates with experience working in and around a datacenter- any capacity planning, facility management, project management, a plus for electrical knowledge, and commercial HVAC experience.
This is a full time direct hire opportunity with onsite responsibilities in Grapevine, TX as well as possible weekends and on call needs. Required Skills & Experience

- High School graduate required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years of related experience
- Expertise with Microsoft Office (Office, Word, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
- Advanced Zoom administrative user
- Experience planning and managing executive meetings and events
- Datacenter HVAC, CRAC, CRAH cooling technologies
- Datacenter power, UPS, generator operations, etc
- Datacenter fire suppression systems (FM200, HFC125, etc)
- General knowledge of datacenter design and construction
- LAN/WAN
- Emerging Technology Trends
- Datacenter Best Practice and Industry Standard Methodology
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Preferred
- CDDTP Certified Data Center Technician Professional
- DCCA – Schneider Electric Data Center Certified Associate
- BICSI – Data Center Design Consultant
- Evaluate critical systems, prioritize workflow and determine solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpret and apply laws, regulations and policies
- Read and understand technical manuals
- Work for extended time at keyboard/terminal
- Maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and coworkers
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
