Lead UI Engineer

A series-C startup based in College Park, MD is searching for a Lead UI Engineer to join their growing team as they have just received 25 million in funding. Their platform has ~3 million registered users with 96% of fortune 1000 companies using their product. Not only are they developing online courses and experiential tools for cybersecurity professionals, they connect their users with over 1000 expert cybersecurity contributors to assist with guided career pathways, threat-informed training, and certification preparation; essentially building an entire ecosystem of people, companies, content, and technologies in the cybersecurity space.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience working with React 16.8+ using hooks
• Experience with Gatsby, GraphQL, and Contentful CMS
• Solid understanding of application architecture
• Ability to communicate with and lead cross-functional teams
• Experience mentoring and teaching less experienced engineers
