An international e-commerce company located in Herndon, VA is looking to hire a Data Center Operation Technician. They are looking for someone who is an expert in the Microsoft Office suite and well-versed in troubleshooting technical issues. This a long-term contract position.
In this role you will be involved in site management and maintain upkeep for the data center. This is an opportunity to work with one of the most recognizable names in technology and play a critical role in the development of their new data center. You will get real world experiences working as part of the operations team that will help your professional growth. Required Skills & Experience
- 2 or more years of experience in the electrical or mechanical field
- 2 or more years of experience working with Microsoft Office
- Experience working in data center engineering
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Daily Responsibilities
- 100% Hands On
- Maintain the data center infrastructure
- First in line for touch point hardware fixes
- Work closely with experience technicians on training materials
