Drone and Robotics Engineer (ROS2)

This position requires 25-30% travel to Los Angeles, CA. CALIFORNIA CANDIDATES PREFERRED. It is a 1-year contract position with a client that services the Military and Aerosapce. US Citizenship is required to apply. Ideal candidates are comfortable with the idea of their code being used for defense purposes.

This client has been around and in the industry for over 50 years. Their innovative solutions are why the US military chose to partner with them. They work with an array of projects around aerosapce, robotics, software, sensors and more. For this specific project you will be coding defense drones for the US Military. 

Contract Duration: 1 year + Required Skills & Experience

• Must be a United States Citizen
• Must be local to CALIFORNIA and with 25-30% travel to Los Angeles, CA specifically (only hotel expenses will be covered)
• 2+ years of experience
• ROS2
• Experince with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in production

Desired Skills & Experience

• Integration with Plank's Automated landing code
• Exposure to autonomy/Machine learning/AI
