Information Security Infrastructure Engineer

Will require working a hybrid schedule 2 days onsite per week and a rotating on-call schedule to provide coverage in a 24/7 environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Systems Administration or IT Operations. Ideal combination includes both systems and database administration.
• Thorough understanding of security, network architectures and protocols.
• Familiarity of Compliance and risk management frameworks and methodologies (ISO27002, SDLC).
• Experience with any Security Infrastructure technologies including: CyberArk, SailPoint, Cisco ISE, Entrust, Token Technologies, Powerbroker, Unix Security tools, Data Protection/Security Technologies, PKI Infrastructure.
• Must have solid systems administration experience in Linux, Red Hat, Solaris, AIX, or Windows Server and other Unix based operating systems (Wintel)
• Understanding of Web Servers (Apache, IIS, Sun One Web servers)
• Experience with Application Servers (WebLogic, WebSphere)
• Database experience with Oracle, SQL server, or Sybase
• Production and UAT Environment troubleshooting expertise.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Certifications (CISSP, ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, CEH, Red hat, Solaris, MCSE).
• Understanding of programming or scripting languages (Java, Perl, C/C++, Shell)

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide hands-on technical Application Support for Security Infrastructure and Applications.
• Will work very closely with systems administrators, integration team, and engineering teams on upgrades, integration and new applications coming into the environment.
• Will monitor and report on capacity, performance and stability management.
• Lead initiative to develop/improve scripts and other programs for system monitoring and maintenance.
• Participate in Operations-related projects and Security assessment for the infrastructure associated with the applications in scope.
• Document and effect knowledge transfer to other team members.
• Responsible to assess the risk and associated impact of all operational issues and change events and react quickly to escalate to technology management in a timely manner when required.
• Work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure the operational requirements are met during application integrations.
• Continuously keep the Knowledge Share repository up to date.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide support after hours or on weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work across all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to work with demanding global partners within aggressive timelines; solid problem solving, analytical and technical abilities.
