A major convenience store chain is bringing on a Senior UX Researcher to elevate their customer experiences, enhance user interactions, and optimize customer satisfaction across their diverse product offerings. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential for extension, and is 5 days on-site in Irving, Texas. The ideal candidate will be a mixed-methods UX Researcher with a wealth of experience across B2C or B2B industries with an impressive portfolio demonstrating expertise across both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

This company operates a global chain of convenience stores, providing a wide range of daily essentials, snacks, and beverages. Renowned for its accessible locations and 24/7 service, it aims to meet diverse customer needs with convenience and efficiency. Contract Duration: 12 months

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, HCI, or related fields
  • 7-9 years of experience in research (B2C or B2B), at least 3 years in a leadership position
  • Ability to build robust connections with stakeholders, relying on your proficiency in varied research techniques
  • Portfolio showcasing quantitative and qualitative research that demonstrates the journey behind the insights
  • Proficiency in remote research and visual presentation skills
  • Clear communication and the ability to articulate insights
  • Adaptability and agility; stay on the cutting-edge with ever-changing tools, methods, and skillsets
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Master’s Degree
  • Consultancy experience with a large research firm working on digital retail products

What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage diverse research roadmaps for user-centric product areas
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative studies, specializing in remote UX research methods
  • Distill complex findings into actionable insights, facilitating clear communication across teams
  • Apply statistical proficiency, champion service design principles, and present insights through accessible visualizations, occasionally traveling for in-person research observations (up to 20% of the time
