Job Description
A growing organization in Irving, TX is looking for a Systems Administrator with a focus on Cyber Security. Our client is a well-known aerospace company that is looking to grow their DFW based team
They are currently in the process of building out their IT presence in the DFW area. In doing this, they have a need for a Systems Administrator that can be Cyber Security focused. Ideally, they are looking for someone who has solid fundamentals with Windows, M365, Cisco, and VMware. You will be working on helping implement their security tools, so general knowledge with SIEM and EDR systems along with Cyber Security tools like CrowdStrike, Burp, WireShark, etc.
This is a full-time role. It will be a hybrid WFH model (with a bit more emphasis on remote) out of their Irving, TX office. Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of IT experience
- Strong understanding of Systems and Networking fundamentals – M365, Cisco, and VMware
- Prior experience with firewall – Palo Alto, Forcepoint, etc.
- Deploy and monitor SIEM and EDR systems.
- Any security tools – CrowdStrike, Burp, WireShark, Symantec, etc.
- Bachelors or Masters in a Computer related field is a plus.
- Prior experience within a Windows environment is needed.
- Certifications are a nice to have.
- Full-time, salary will range from $100-115K depending on experience
