Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer

We're currently collaborating with a major company in the industrial and commercial energy market, with a goal of giving their clients a better route to more fully realize the potential benefits of increasing their efficeincy. Their primary product is an exclusive energy efficiency technology that can be connected to the current energy grids, saving their clients money on both energy and refitting costs. They've recently expanded and partnered with another major company in the industry, further increasing their foothold on the market. 

They are interested in bringing in a semi-local candidate that is an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, ideally strong in Fullstack Development. The ideal candidate would be open to coming into the office 2 days a week, but its negotiable as long as you're local within reasonable distance to West Chester, Kennett Square, or Glen Mills, PA (if you're a little further out, still feel free to apply!)

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience using Ruby on Rails professionally
• Familiar with Typescript, or similar language
• Experienced with either React, Angular, or Vue (ideally React)
• Some exposure working with both relational and non-relational databases
• Clear communication, both written and verbal

Desired Skills & Experience

• BS in CS or equivalent related work experience
• Previous experience at small companies is a benefit but not required
• More of a focus on backend development is ideal, but has some experience with React
