Solutions Architect
A manufacturing company for consumer goods, located in King of Prussia, is looking to hire a fulltime Solutions Architect. In this role you will be creating technical roadmaps and solution designs for the data center services, compute platforms, and Windows Infrastructure, along with the re-design of existing infrastructure and revamping of back-up solutions. Your day-to-day will consist of VMware architecture, Windows server builds and upgrades, storage and back up, Azure Active Directory, and Disaster Recovery.

The company is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years of IT experience. Also, this individual should have a familiarity with a variety of the IT concepts, practices, and procedures including server security hardening both on prem and in the cloud. If you are someone who possesses these qualifications – then this is the role for you!

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in VMware – architecture and designing
• Proficient in Windows server – builds, upgrades, and migrations
• Basic understanding of setting up workloads in Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Experience with Active Directory
• Strong skillset in VDI and implementation of VDI solutions

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience in doing server backups and working with Storage
• Strong team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to overcome obstacles and get things done in a fast-paced environment
