Network /Security Engineer

A healthcare company is looking to add a Senior Network Engineer to their network security team. This position will be an extension of IT management which includes oversight of staff. It is located in the Lehigh Valley PA area and is hybrid.

This Senior Network Security role is heavily project based and looking for someone with strong network security experience related to firewalls. On a day-to-day basis you will be configuring routers and switches, creating VPNs, and setting up VLANs. If you have a passion for mentorship and expanding others knowledge base this role may be an excellent role for you.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience with computer systems
• 8+ years of experience in network security
• Set up Checkpoint firewalls
• Firewall installation and upgrades
• Deploy Cisco ISE
• Wireless technologies & wireless deployment experience
• Set up network equipment
• Routing and switching experience
• Network subnetting experience
• Network access and network detection response experience

Certification Preferred

• Cisco- CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, CCSA, FCNSP, CISSP, SSCP, CEH, GIAC,
• Security +
• OSCP
• CompTIA Server +
• MCSE
• LPIC
• CompTIA Cloud +
• VCP
• CCSE
