Our client, a global broadcast media and entertainment company, is actively looking for a Digital Product Coordinator to join their Emerging Platforms team in Los Angeles! This person will work 3 days a week onsite so candidates must be local.
***This is a 1 year contract with the opportunity to extend or convert***
This Digital Product Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the department in developing new products & enhancements and overseeing operations on iOS and Android applications that make up their overall digital portfolio! This group is tasked with driving new brand engagement initiatives, including building a wide range of products and services across web, app, and emerging digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Drive development and assist with maintaining the product roadmap
- Interface with departmental leads, executive management, and others to gather requirements, discuss opportunities for growth, and determine how to measure success
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including web development and software engineering teams, to successfully scope and execute new product features on time and within budget
- Identify milestones with the product roadmap and track deliverables to relevant individuals/teams
- Ensure that project schedules adhere to the product roadmap and advise leadership of potential conflicts
- Gather user data and conduct user testing to assist with providing insight
- Create user stories, managing a product backlog and operating in an agile-like environment
- Establish acceptance criteria and sign off on all developed products prior to launch
Required Skills:
- BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of digital experience
- Experience managing/coordinating digital product initiatives and design systems
- Desktop, mobile web and mobile app product experience
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
- Project/Product tracking tool experience is preferred, i.e. JIRA, SmartSheet, Trello, etc.
- Working knowledge in Adobe CS is a plus
- Exposure to working with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
- Interest in pursuing a career in Product Management is a plus
