Our client, a leading financial software company is hiring a Risk Analyst to join their team in Los Angeles, CA! This position will be Tuesday – Friday 7/8am to 4/5pm, Saturday 7am-3:30pm.

**This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits & paid holidays**

The Risk Analyst will be evaluating financial stability and fraud risk factors, while protecting and minimizing the impact for our merchants. They should have a solid understanding of financial risk behaviors and patterns, and of financial records, such as invoices, balance sheets and bank statements.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently investigate, analyze, and resolve queued fraud and financial risk issues
  • Makes outbound calls to customers to validate payments transactions
  • Provide efficient resolutions to the most complex and escalated customers
  • Handles questions or escalations on suspected fraud from other business units.

Desired Skills:
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • 3 years of experience in risk mitigation within the payments industry
  • Prior experience identifying the behaviors and signs of risky financial transactions or accounts
  • CFE certification is a plus
