Senior Site Reliability Engineer / On-Site Los Angeles

A Fortune 100 company, ranked as one of Top 100 Companies to Work For, is hiring Senior Site Reliability Engineers to join their Analytics team. This company has been modernizing their technology and this team is responsible for working with each development group to break down monolithic applications into microservices. You'll work on a tech-first team, building AWS environments from scratch rather than just adding to existing infrastructure. On top of that, you'll help build Jenkins pipelines from scratch, trouble shoot deployments, write YAML files, build Helm charts, and more.

This is a highly technical team that prides themselves on both teamwork and their technical abilities. This role is 100% Remote and open to any US time zone.

Contract: 6 months contract to hire What You'll Do

• Provision AWS resources via Terraform
• Create, manage, and administrate Kubernetes running on EKS
• Create and modify Jenkins pipelines
• Work with Software Development teams to write and tune their application Helm charts for EKS
• Manage deployment process to development and QA systems

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
• Expertise building CI/CD pipelines from scratch (Jenkins preferred)
• Expertise working in AWS environments
• Experience creating Kubernetes clusters from scratch
• Passion for building and running distributed systems at scale
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment while being self-driven

Desired Skills & Experience

• BS in Computer Science or related field
