Job Description
A company on the port of Long Beach is hiring for a Mid-level Networking Engineer, full time, 100% on-site, 5 days a week. They’re one of the leaders in the shipping and freight logistics space operating automated cranes at major US Ports for preparations of shipping from ship to rail and trucking. This engineer is someone that is strong in Cisco & Aruba, well-versed in LAN, WAN, and internet networking concepts at all layers of the OSI model. Someone who has knowledge of advanced routing, switching, topology, and redundancy principles, implementing network security according to direction/policies provided by Information Security.
Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience
• Network Hardware/gear (pref. Cisco, Aruba)
• HPE Aruba products (pref. ClearPass, Mobility Controllers, Airwave)

• CCNP or ACSP Certification
• Problem Solving
• Team building

Tech Breakdown

• TCP, UDP, DNS, Telnet, SSH, FTP, SFTP, SNMP, SMTP, SNTP, DHCP, Profinet, Profibus, S7 Comm etc.

Daily Responsibilities

• 95% Hands On
• 5% Management duties
