Senior Network Engineer

A company focused on technology solutions is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to add to their growing team. This engineer will be focused on designing and deploying highly available networks in a complex environment. The company has recently gone through a couple acquisitions and, there is still some unknowns within the network. This individual should have a depth of experience working with various technologies including firewalls, switches, routers, and public cloud providers (AWS or Azure). This individual should also have a strong business acumen with the ability to influence decisions and mentor others on the team on best practices.
This will be a hybrid position. Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience deploying enterprise level networks spanning across multiple data centers
• 5+ years of experience managing firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, etc.)
• In depth knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF and BGP) as well as communication protocols (TCP/IP)
• Experience working with a variety of different vendor products such as VMware NSX, Aruba Wireless, Fortinet, Cisco, etc.
• Experience with networking within at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure)
• Strong business acumen with ability to influence other stakeholders
• Ability to mentor teammates
• Experience creating and maintaining thorough documentation

Desired Skills & Experience

• Any networking certifications a plus
