Our client, a global broadcast media and entertainment company, is actively looking for a Billing & Collections Specialist to join their team in Miami! This role is onsite 3 days a week so local candidates are required.

***This is a 4-5 month initial contract position***

This Billing & Collections Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate cash collection and invoices re-printing of all sales across the region. This person will report to the Finance Director, TVD Latin America. Responsibilities
  • Work under the direct supervision of the Finance Director and be responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned
  • Accurate tracking and timely applying of customer payments & collection of withholding tax certificates
  • Review payments from clients (Sony, MTV, HBO, etc.)
  • Active review and manage AR Aging to minimize outstanding aged debt
  • Support the Finance Director with client reconciliations
  • Review invoices for collections and debt
  • Assist re-printing invoices and manual re-billing
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting is required
  • 3-5 years of proven collections experience across multiple territories, international exchange rates, and tax rates
  • Must be fully bilingual in English/Spanish (both oral and written)
  • Must be strong in Excel
