One of the largest providers of utilities in the nation is searching for an Engineering Project Manager to join their team Monticello, IN! In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and managing electric distribution system construction and maintenance projects.

This opportunity to manage projects that are critical to the delivery of essential services to millions of customers across the country begins on a 1-year, W2 contract with the opportunity to extend and/or convert to permanent.

Responsibilities:
  • Engineer 12.5 kv and below voltages for a variety of new business, system improvement, and public improvement projects
  • Meet with customers and work crews on job sites about engineering project deliverables
  • Evaluate, design, estimate, and manage maintenance and construction projects for electric distribution systems
  • Prepare detailed drawings, permits, easements, material estimates, reservations, and all other project documentation in AutoCAD, CIS, and Maximo
  • Manage capital and O&M project budgets when designing plans
  • Provide support to the Operations team during system interruptions and outages, including storm restoration

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required
  • Strong understanding of engineering theories, principles, and best practices
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and standards to resolve issues
  • Experience working with design applications such as AutoCAD
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
