NYC Senior Cybersecurity Manager (lots of growth)

$90/hr - $110/hr
A leading global fashion company is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Manager to lead the development of their cybersecurity program at our New York City office. In this role, you will establish and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls for our cloud-based and application-based systems, and collaborate with vendors to ensure the security of our systems and data.
The role has got high growth potential. We're hoping to eventually build out a team of internal engineers underneath this Senior Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Work with vendors and partners to ensure the security of our systems and data
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls for our systems and applications
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans
- Provide guidance and training to developers and operations teams on security best practices and emerging threats
- Eventually build and manage a team of internal security engineers to support the cybersecurity program
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, particularly in program management or development
- Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and best practices, particularly in Microsoft Azure and GCP
- Experience with security compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and CCPA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CSSLP
