Senior Android Developer

One of our best clients is among the largest financial service companies in the world, and they’re looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join the team! They’ve been around for over 100 years, have almost 2 trillion dollars in assets, over 220,000 employees, 8k+ branches, and over 10k ATM locations. In 2020 they made almost 75 billion dollars in revenue. This is a long-term contract to hire position working in either New York City or New Jersey on PST hours and must be in-office 3 days a week.

They are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join their large Mobile Development team. They’re looking for somebody who has excellent communication skills and loves to lead. Having prior banking experience is a plus. They’d also like someone who has strong experience coding in Kotlin, Java, and RxJava. This opportunity allows one to work cross-functionally with a team in a hybrid environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant native Android Development experience
• Proficient in modern Android Development practices
• Proficient in Kotlin, Java, and RxJava
• Experience working cross functionally

Desired Skills & Experience

• Fin Tech/ Banking experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Example apps on app store
