Senior Android Engineer (Hybrid)

They are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Engineer to join their robust mobile development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving new feature development for their flagship consumer-facing application. Your expertise in building and maintaining high-quality software will be essential in delivering a seamless user experience. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features for mobile applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure codebase quality.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues in the codebase.
• Design and implement new user-facing features.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adhere to best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience of 8+ years as a Senior Android Engineer or similar role.
• Strong expertise in building Android applications and writing code in Kotlin and Java.
• Familiarity with asynchronous coding patterns, performance analysis, and optimization.
• Experience working in globally distributed teams and integrating with backend services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
