As a Senior Content Designer / UX Writer, you will play a critical role in defining the voice and messaging of our client's digital products. This hybrid position allows you the flexibility to work remotely while also enjoying the dynamic energy of New York City's bustling office scene 1-3 days a week. Your outstanding writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and passion for user-centered content will be essential in enhancing the overall user experience and driving customer satisfaction.
- 5-6+ years of professional experience in content design, UX writing, or a related field
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for digital products
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Develop and maintain clear, concise, and engaging content for digital products, including websites, mobile apps, and other user interfaces
- Collaborate with designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create user-centered content that supports product goals and enhances the user experience
- Conduct content audits, usability tests, and other research to identify areas for improvement and inform content strategy
- Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across all digital touchpoints
- Participate in design critiques, providing and receiving constructive feedback to continuously improve content quality
This contract-to-hire position offers a competitive pay rate between $60/hour and $75/hour. The role is expected to convert to full-time after 6 to 9 months, providing you with a fantastic opportunity for growth and long-term success within the company.
