We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our client's dynamic and collaborative team on a contract-to-hire basis. The contract period is anticipated to last between 6 to 9 months, with a strong possibility of conversion to a full-time position thereafter. In this role, you will be responsible for driving product strategy, conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and developing design systems for our client's suite of HR software solutions. As a key member of the product team, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the overall look, feel, and functionality of their applications, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for end-users.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative product design solutions
- Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement in the user experience
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs based on user insights and product requirements
- Establish and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and cohesion across all products
- Iterate and refine designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members
- Present design concepts and solutions to internal and external stakeholders
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices, continuously improving the company's design processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in product design roles, such as Senior UX/UI Designer, Senior User Experience Designer, or similar
- Proven expertise in UX, UI, interaction design, visual design, and responsive design
- Experience in the fintech, human resources, or payroll services industries is highly desired
- Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design projects and demonstrating a user-centered design approach
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping software
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
